30 years ago we began our quest to design and make the world’s finest jeans, starting with creating our own unique facilities, studios and workshops.
We began by designing unique tools and techniques in hand customisation of denim. We have spent decades teaching ourselves the different characteristics of denim, the way it reacts and all the beautiful subtleties of the cloth. Our design processes take the best fits possible by looking at the different shrinkages, reactions, life and shape retention of denim. We are experts in the way the wash and finish looks, with each jean individually hand customised. We work closely with premium denim mills in Japan, Europe and the USA, to find the best possible fabric to ensure our jeans are of the highest quality.
Everything we do is in our own facility in Fitzroy, Melbourne Australia. We are accredited by the Ethical Clothing Australia standards, which means our supply chain and manufacturing is transparent. We are proud to be Australian made, fair and ethical.
In 1999 “NOBODY” was officially born – a label founded on the belief that making jeans could be imbued with integrity and creativity, and representative of our love of the cloth.
